Easter

Here's some pictures from Easter. It was a fun day. Church was good. After church we did the easter basket thing with Tess and she thought that was great. For dinner we had a few friends over and had a yummy ham dinner and then I made a bunny cake. It was nice to be together as a family and to enjoy the day.

Everyone in their Easter best!

She got Mail

Well, funny that I made that post last night about Tess getting mail from grandpa because this morning she got a card from him :o) (our mail man comes REALLY early) I didn't find the camera in time for all the funny letter kissing she does, but she is really sweet about getting the letter. Oh, and while I was tapping I couldn't figure out what she said right before the end but, and this is for mom, she said "grandma, I love you" it's just really high pitched so I had to listen to it before I could figure it out, haha. Anyway, thought you'd like this dad. She still pats her chest when she says grandpa too....kinda cute.

Oh and all those other funny sounds, that sound like a dog panting....that was Beckham. He was doing his morning kicks, haha

Grandpa Paul

Tessa has a list of favorite people that we talk about often...KoKo, Yosh (aka, Alesha), Annie, Daddy, Dora and so on. But the one person that is ALWAYS on that list and often named first is Bompa....Grandpa Paul. Tessa thinks that every piece of mail we get is from grandpa and that every time the door bell rings and I ask her who it is she always shouts "Bompa!". I told me parents about Tessa wanting mail from grandpa because one day I handed her a flyer that came from Walgreens and she thought it was from my dad. She carried it around ALL DAY and would talk to it and kiss it and got very mad if anyone took it away from her or put it where she couldn't find it. So, upon hearing this my parents decided that they would send Tess a letter or something special each week. The picture below is of Tess getting a card from Grandpa Paul. Every time she gets something she first kisses the envelope it came in and then once it's opened she'll kiss the card over and over, haha. She's my little sweetie and I think it's safe to say that she misses grandpa Paul as much, if not more, than I do. We love you dad!!

Here are some pictures of Tessie with grandpa. She was often his shadow :o)

Love to Laugh

One of my favorite things is to hear my kids laugh. Beckham has recently found that some things are really funny to him and has the cutest laugh. I've tried to video him several times before and he gets distracted by the camera and stops. But, I was finally able to get a little clip of him. And Miss Tess, of course, adds her cute self (dirty face and all) to the clip as well.

P.S. never mind my comments in the video....my voice is super weird in it.

Snow Days

We got SLAMMED with snow this past weekend. Luckily I had bought some new movies, so we all stayed in our jammies, hung out and watched movies all weekend. It was nice to just have family time.

I think we ended up with a few feet of snow. It just NEVER let up!!

What A Mess!!

So Beckham was pretty fussy the other night and we tried everything we could think of to comfort him....nothing was working. Then, he let big ones go about four or five times and was then all smiles. After turning him over and seeing what you see in the pictures, I think I'd be all smiles too.

New Trick

Beckham has decided that he's getting big and this week figured out how to hold his own bottle. So, he sits on the couch in the mornings with Tess and they both drink their milk and watch Dora (yes, Beck actually watches, haha). It's very helpful to me that he's figured this out.

Tess saw that I was taking pictures of Beckham and wanted one taken of her too. It's cute! And sorry that her breakfast is all over her face, but that's just her :o)
