Tessa has been on a kick with holding Beckham and she was being really cute with him the other night so I thought I would video it. But, as soon as the camera came out she became a little stinker. She does give a love shout-out to grandpa Paul, haha :o) And her laugh just kills me, so even though this isn't really a vidoe of anything, I thought you all would like to see it anyway.

Any Ideas Would Help
Well, now that Beck is feeling better I'm determined to get him on a schedule and out of my bedroom. Today is the start of him sleeping in his crib. However, I'm super nervous how tonight will go. He's not been sleeping well (because he's been sick) but we've stuck to his eating schedule so there's no reason why he should be getting up at night. So my question to you all is this...do you have any before bed routines that have worked with your infants? I'm open to anything. As of now we're going to go with the eat, play, bath, eat, bed/cry it out routine. But I'd love to know any other tricks that may have worked for you all.

Update on Beckham
Well, things are looking up :o) Beckham is doing much better and we were able avoid taking him to the hospital. He began keeping food down on Monday night and only throws up now if his coughing gets out of hand. He is still coughing, but it's a productive cough and is sounding better by the day. Beck is becoming my happy boys once again. He's smiling and talking up a storm so much that he gets distracted and does it while he's nursing and thinks it's funny when I talk back to him. We're SO glad to have our little guy back and will be happy when he's 100% again.

Poor Baby Becks
Poor Beckham has been sick since last week. He's been to the doctor a few times. He's got a double ear infection, and a small case of RSV. He's also not able to keep much down because of all his coughing fits and is a little on the dehydrated side. We went to the doctors, again, this morning and we're supposed to be counting wet diapers and how many times he throws-up. Then, if he doesn't improve they'll probably put him in the hospital tomorrow for fluids and breathing treatments. I feel so bad for him. This little video shows how miserable he is. He's generally a happy, smiley baby and this fussy guy is what we've had for almost the past week. He wants his grandmas to feel bad for him! haha
P.S. This video was taken before he got really bad, so you can only imagine...

Just like Dad!
Here's my cute family! Steve was studying with his hood on and the kids (Tessa) thought it was pretty funny to sit with him and have her hood on too.

Tessa's Tent
Tessa got this Dora tent with some of her birthday money. She LOVES it! She invites everyone to go in there with her and takes EVERYTHING in there with her. Can't wait til it's warmer outside so we can put it in the sun-room and out of my kitchen, haha! Thanks Great-Grandma and Grandpa Arntson, Tessie loves it!

Happy Love Day!!!
Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day!!
Also want to let my own sweetie know how much I love him. I'm not always an easy person to live with and I want Steve to know how thankful I am that he's hung in there with me. He is my world and my rock. My best friend and lover. A wonderful example and amazing father. Our past 4 years together have been wonderful and can't wait for what the future holds. Thank you for all you're doing to better our family and situation. Thank you for the person you are and for the person you're becoming. I don't know what I did without you and can't imagine being without you now. I will love you always!

Our House
Ok, so since no one back home has seen our house I thought I'd take some video. I'm only doing it in parts as our camera only allows a little at a time. So, here's you're first installment.

Our House
So here's the second half of our tour for today. My camera ran out of memory, so it finished in the basement. But, it's just a basement so there's not much more to it. Anyway, will add more of the house soon!

Tessa's 2nd Birthday!!
Yesterday was Tessa's 2nd Birthday. We had a party for her and invited all of her friends. We set up a table and let them all decorate cupcakes. I think they would have all just been happy to eat everything on the table instead of worrying about decorating. But, we got some cute pictures.
All the kids ready to decorate. At the head of the table..Max, Annie, Tessa, Koen, Jace and Cassidy is slighty cut out, but she's there.

10 years ago:
Oh dear.... I was moving from VA to IL. Hated it at the time, but loved our 3 years there. And honestly I don't remember any other really great things from that time, haha. Sad.
5 Things on my to-do list:
Put my kids to bed. Fill out some paper work. Clean my kitchen. Exercise. Get Tessa some b-day gifts. Today's her b-day and I had nothing for her....bad mom, I know but she had a party with her friends today so we're having our family thing tomorrow. RELAX...if I find the time. ok that was 6...oh well ;o)
Things I would do if I were suddenly made a billionaire:
Pay off any debt. Put money away for each child (and future ones). Give a little to each set of parents, since they've helped us so much. Start making plans for my dream home, so I can start having it built our last year of school. Buy a car that big enough to pack us all around comfortably. Maybe have some work done...hahaha!! GO SHOPPING!!
3 of mybad habits:
picking at my nails. over thinking things...steve hates that. obsessing over my weight.
Jobs I have had:
cleaned horse stalls. cashier at Beef-A-Roo........sooooo yummy! Head Lifeguard at the Rockford YMCA. Secretary for my dad. Nail Tech. Waikiki Beach Tanning Salon. Nanny. Receptionist at Taylor Andrews. Admin. Assistant at HCI.
Things people don't know about me:
I was home schooled from 1st grade on. I have webbed toes. I had my belly button pierced twice. And there are probably more things, but you have to be pretty close to me to know them, haha.
Ok, I'm done! I tag Shaleen and Tanya

It was to quiet
So, I was upstairs putting laundry away today and had left Beckham asleep in the swing and Tessa playing with her stickers. A few minutes after being upstairs I realized that Tess was being too quiet. As I went to the top of the stairs to yell down and ask what she was doing, I heard her laughing. Since the laughter was so cute I wanted to see what was making her laugh and went downstairs. The pictures explain the rest!!
So glad I hadn't left her coloring with her markers...heaven only knows what I would have found then!

Silly Kids
Here's some fun pictures of the kids from our weekend of parties. Annie, Tess and Max at Annie's party
We all thought Tess would get bugged by this, but Koen just kept putting the bottle in her mouth and she kept letting him. It was funny to watch We think Tess and Max got so tired that all they could do was hug because they stayed like this for a long while. Tessa was gettin' a little fresh though, haha

Super Bowl
Well, the Super Bowl was a let down, as far as the game goes...we're Patriots fans. But the party was great! We had a bunch of friends over and had a good time with lots of good food.

The Mom Test...funny story
Mom Test
I was out walking with my 4 year old daughter. She picked up something off the ground and started to put it in her mouth. I took the item away from her and I asked her not to do that. 'Why?' my daughter asked. 'Because it's been on the ground, you don't know where it's been, it's dirty, and probably has germs,' I replied. At t his point, my daughter looked at me with total admiration and asked, 'Momma, how do you know all this stuff, you are so smart.' I was thinking quickly. 'All moms know this stuff. It' s on the Mom Test. You have to know it, or they don't let you be a Mom.' We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but she was evidently pondering this new information. 'OH...I get it!' she beamed, 'So if you don't pass the test you have to be the dad.' ''Exactly,' I replied back with a big smile on my face.
