Easter

Here's some pictures from Easter. It was a fun day. Church was good. After church we did the easter basket thing with Tess and she thought that was great. For dinner we had a few friends over and had a yummy ham dinner and then I made a bunny cake. It was nice to be together as a family and to enjoy the day.

Everyone in their Easter best!

She got Mail

Well, funny that I made that post last night about Tess getting mail from grandpa because this morning she got a card from him :o) (our mail man comes REALLY early) I didn't find the camera in time for all the funny letter kissing she does, but she is really sweet about getting the letter. Oh, and while I was tapping I couldn't figure out what she said right before the end but, and this is for mom, she said "grandma, I love you" it's just really high pitched so I had to listen to it before I could figure it out, haha. Anyway, thought you'd like this dad. She still pats her chest when she says grandpa too....kinda cute.

Oh and all those other funny sounds, that sound like a dog panting....that was Beckham. He was doing his morning kicks, haha

Grandpa Paul

Tessa has a list of favorite people that we talk about often...KoKo, Yosh (aka, Alesha), Annie, Daddy, Dora and so on. But the one person that is ALWAYS on that list and often named first is Bompa....Grandpa Paul. Tessa thinks that every piece of mail we get is from grandpa and that every time the door bell rings and I ask her who it is she always shouts "Bompa!". I told me parents about Tessa wanting mail from grandpa because one day I handed her a flyer that came from Walgreens and she thought it was from my dad. She carried it around ALL DAY and would talk to it and kiss it and got very mad if anyone took it away from her or put it where she couldn't find it. So, upon hearing this my parents decided that they would send Tess a letter or something special each week. The picture below is of Tess getting a card from Grandpa Paul. Every time she gets something she first kisses the envelope it came in and then once it's opened she'll kiss the card over and over, haha. She's my little sweetie and I think it's safe to say that she misses grandpa Paul as much, if not more, than I do. We love you dad!!

Here are some pictures of Tessie with grandpa. She was often his shadow :o)

Love to Laugh

One of my favorite things is to hear my kids laugh. Beckham has recently found that some things are really funny to him and has the cutest laugh. I've tried to video him several times before and he gets distracted by the camera and stops. But, I was finally able to get a little clip of him. And Miss Tess, of course, adds her cute self (dirty face and all) to the clip as well.

P.S. never mind my comments in the video....my voice is super weird in it.

Snow Days

We got SLAMMED with snow this past weekend. Luckily I had bought some new movies, so we all stayed in our jammies, hung out and watched movies all weekend. It was nice to just have family time.

I think we ended up with a few feet of snow. It just NEVER let up!!

What A Mess!!

So Beckham was pretty fussy the other night and we tried everything we could think of to comfort him....nothing was working. Then, he let big ones go about four or five times and was then all smiles. After turning him over and seeing what you see in the pictures, I think I'd be all smiles too.

New Trick

Beckham has decided that he's getting big and this week figured out how to hold his own bottle. So, he sits on the couch in the mornings with Tess and they both drink their milk and watch Dora (yes, Beck actually watches, haha). It's very helpful to me that he's figured this out.

Tess saw that I was taking pictures of Beckham and wanted one taken of her too. It's cute! And sorry that her breakfast is all over her face, but that's just her :o)

Dress Up!!

Miss Tessie loves to help with the laundry by pulling things out of the basket and putting them on, haha. This day she happened to pull things out of an open drawer as I was putting things away. Next thing I know she's says, "Look Mama, pimpess (princess)". And yes that is underwear around her neck, haha. She really is my source of entertainment! Funny girl!

Been Tagged Again!!

Here are the rules.
#1 Link to the person that tagged you.
#2 Post the rules on your blog.
#3 Share seven random and/or weird facts about yourself on your blog.
#4 Tag seven random people at the end of your post, and include links to their blogs.
# 5 Leave a comment on their blogs so that they know they have been tagged.

Ok, here goes...

1. I love music and dancing. When I was single going dancing or to a church dance was one thing I always looked forward to. In fact, when I was in Boston and one of the nannies had a bad day we'd have a huge dance party in someones room to help shake off everything. So fun! Now, however, after having 2 kids I feel TOTALLY dumb dancing. No longer feel cute or sexy, just feel like I look dumb, haha.
2. In accordance with #1 I'm obsessed with any reality show that deals with dancing. Dancing with the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, Bruno vs. Carrie Ann Dance War, America's Best Dance Crew....just to name a few. But I love them and can't get enough!
3. Like Abby noted in her 7 things, I too am hooked on the show One Tree Hill. And no Abbs, I'm not ashamed to admit it! haha! Since the first season I've always been for B. Davis and thought P. Sawyer was not so cute and had/has WAY to much baggage for Lucas to deal with. Not a fan of the new Lyndsey girl, but could become one. And have often thought that Steve looks a little like a brunet version of Lucas, haha, it's in the eyes and mouth....maybe that's why I think he's so hot! haha!
4. I have body issues and have since I can remember. There's always that 16 year old anorexic in the back of my mind reminding me that if I just don't put those yummy treats in my mouth then I wont gain weight. I honestly fight that all the time. But, I also love food WAY too much to want to go back to any of that.
5. I love going to the gym. It's my release and a way to burn off stress. I also love to go and people watch. It's so fun to watch all the silly people that just go there to be social. Please give me a break with all the girls that come all done-up....we know why you're really there, so just go home and stop kidding yourself. Although, then I wouldn't have anyone to watch so never mind.
6. I really hate house work. I love things to be clean and organized, but I hate doing it. Since having kids I am more on top of cleaning than I've ever been and clean things up more in one day than I ever thought I would. I'm also no good at putting the laundry away. I have no problem washing it and folding it, just can't seem to get it in the dressers, haha. Not sure why. But it totally bugs Steve.....sorry babe!
7. Before Steve kissed me (on our first date, haha) I hadn't been kissed in two years!! It's not that I never had the opportunity it's just that there wasn't ever anyone I was with that I felt the need to kiss. So is that pathetic or honorable?? Maybe a little of both. But, let me tell you, that first kiss that broke my kissless streak was wonderful!! As they have been ever since!

There you go! Oh and I'm not tagging anyone...I think everyone I know has already been tagged.
