Big Kids

With the new baby coming soon, we decided that it was time for Beckham to get into a "big boy" bed. He was VERY excited about this and even more excited that we let him pick out his own bedding. Each of the kids were given a good chunk of x-mas money so they each got new bedding. Beck has done really well being in his new bed. We've only had one problem during nap time and he only gets out of bed at night if Tess does (they share a room). So, the change was good and we now have 2 "big kids"!

And Wally thought that since Tess no longer needed her old quilt that that meant it was now his. And Steve, having a soft heart for the dog, decided that Wally was right, haha!

New Years

My family has a tradition where every New Years Day we get together and eat ourselves sick on crab legs and ribs. You can see by Steve smile that this is one of his favorite traditions we keep on my side, haha! It's a lot of fun and oh so yummy!!

This year I splurged and got Steve his own jumbo king crab leg. Only got one because it cost me $14 bucks, but look at the prize he got! He was very impressed with himself that he got all that out in one piece!

Christmas

Here are a few pictures taken Christmas morning. I was really bad at taking pictures, so there weren't many to choose from. But here's a few to show our fun morning.

We had a great Christmas! Christmas Eve was spent with my family and Christmas night was spent with Steve's family. It was nice to have our own time on x-mas morning and nice to be back with family for the holidays.

Before Christmas Fun!

Steve worked a lot right before and around Christmas, so the kids and I had to find ways to stay busy. Here are a couple things we did :o)

Made Rice Crispy treat stars to give to friends and family. Kids had a lot of fun!

Beckham couldn't believe I let him do everything by himself, haha!

With some help from my mom and sister I was able to make stockings for the whole family this year. I think they turned out pretty good, if I do say so!

Random Pictures

Steve is always telling me that I need to be better at taking pictures "just because". So here are a few that have were taken at the end of last year "just because".

We were on the way to my brothers wedding when this was taken. Steve and I were holding hands, so the kids thought they should too :o)

Tess and Becks think it's great that I like to take pictures of them being "tute" (cute, in Beckhams's words). So I have many pictures like this, haha!

A little bit a go Tess came down with this weird rash. We could never figure out what it was or why she got it, but the poor girl was covered in these huge, spider bite, looking welts. Thank heaven they only lasted a few days. She was a trooper!
