My dad (and most of my family) think that Beckham looks like an old man in baby form. I'd have to agree, to an extent. My dad kept saying that he looked like an actor or someone famous, but he couldn't put his finger on it. Well, he finally figured it out and sent me this picture to compare.....What do you think? If anything, it's pretty funny!

Can't remember the guys name....can you dad?

How do I look?
My good friend, Lisa, was kind enough to pass on some of her unused makeup...as I am challenged when it comes to picking out and putting on makeup. Anyway, Tess found the bag of my goodies and HAD to put some on. Once she was all done up she ran into the other room where Steve was and said, with a large smile..."daddy look me!" When Steve turned to see her these were some of the faces she pulled to show off her pretty makeup. HAHAHA! What a crack up she is!

Happy Mother's Day!
For Mother's Day Steve and the kids got me some flowers. Not the ones that you put in a vase and they die shortly there after, but flowers that I can enjoy all spring and summer long. Here's a few pictures to share my pretty gift! Thanks guys...I love them!
These were already in our yard, but thought they were too pretty not to share!
On another note... I'd like to express gratitude to all the mothers in my life.
Thank you to my own mother for everything she does. I will be forever grateful for the many small and large things you did on my behalf and for the many things you continue to do for me and my family. You are truly my best friend and I'm so blessed to have you in my life. I love you!
To my sister...Thank you for your friendship, love and example. I'm sad we've been so far from each other the past while and very much look forward to living close to you guys again soon. You're a wonderful mother and have more patience than any other person I know. Hang in there with everything and know that I'm here for you. Love you lots!
To my mother-in-law...Thank you for raising a wonderful son. Thanks for allowing him to become the man he is and for not saying no when he wanted to go meet some strange girl in Boston. And thank you so much for all the love and support you have given us and continue to give each day.
To all my sisters-in-law and friends...thank you for your love and example. Each of you have helped me in one way or another and I take my hat off to each of you for the mothers that you are.
Much love and Happy Mother's Day to all!!

Sit up
Beckham has been getting stronger and bigger with each day and we're now trying to tackle sitting up on his own. He actually does really well. I should have take the video sooner because he was going from being bent over to sitting straight up on his own over and over. By the time I took this he was overly excited, I think, and maybe getting tired, so it's short but cute.
After Beck fell, Tess thought she needed to fall and have her picture taken too. Silly girl!

What's the deal??!!
The time change from UT to PA has thrown my kids for a loop. Tess got up at 7am this morning, Beck is sick and hasn't slept through the night since we've been back. Last night I was up with Beck at least 8 times...and yes, I let him scream for most of the night before I started going in there. Tonight we've had to put Tess back in her bed probably 5 or 6 times. She has NEVER done this before! Not even when her "big girl" bed was new to her. And, you guessed it, Beck is up there screaming his little guts out. We're going on an hour of him screaming now. I just don't get what's up with these kids. I knew there would be a little jet lag, but this is crazy. Needless to say, my sleep has been sparse which does not help the feeling of the house or my feelings towards my 2 children...who I do love, but this is just a little much.

Utah Trip
Well, we made it back home to PA. Our trip was GREAT, but I am glad to be back home. The time away from Steve and Erie made me realize that Erie really is my home for right now and not just a stopping place. And it also allowed both Steve and I time to see and remember how much we really do need each other.
Our visit was so fun and we truly enjoyed our time with family and friends. For whatever reason we didn't take as many pictures as I was wanting to, but the picture below shows the main reason for our visit and is SO darling it makes me smile every time I look at it.
Thanks mom and dad for everything! We love you guys so much!!
