Point of view

Here's a couple links from a debate my dad was in recently. I'm not trying to raise any contention through the blog, just thought this was interesting and wanted to share.

As a side note: Tess LOVED watching these videos and tried to talk to my dad every time he was shown speaking. She was also very mad that her grandma was only shown once and didn't understand why they weren't letting her talk too, haha.

Mr. Becks

I feel like Tess has been given a lot of "blog time" lately and I just wanted to share the wealth.

Beck has turned into quite the little monster....I mean, man, quite the little man. He really has come out of his shell and shows us EVERY day what a strong personality he is and what a smart little guy he's turning out to be. It's funny how different boys and girls are and how he's picked up on things that Tess never did at his age. He's into EVERYTHING and has to be where ever the action is. He loves to dance, eat, climb anything, play with Tess, wrestle with dad, pound his chest like Tarzan, take baths, and many, many more things. We love the little guy so much, even on the bad days. He's such a snuggle bug and quite the sensitive guy. I'm grateful for all the joys and challenges he's brought into my life and for the wonderful energy he brings to our family. Life wouldn't be the same without our Beckham!

Beckham LOVES babies! I've been trying to describe to my mom the face he pulls when he see one, but now, even better, I snapped a picture of it. Here he was talking to Sadie, my friends little baby. He, without fail, will pull this face every time he sees a baby. He'll also get as close to them as he can and, in a high pitched voice, say "Hi!" as well as whatever other silly noises come out. I think it's so dang cute! Guess that means we're meant to have more kids since he loves babies so much! (no, I'm not announcing anything)
This is classic Beck. He LOVES to eat! And he LOVES fries! This night he learned the art of dipping and now won't eat anything without some kind of dip. Glad such little things make him so happy :o)

Tessa is 3!!

Our sweet Tessie turned 3 on Feb 6th! She had a hand in planning her own party and she did a pretty good job with it. We had a princess party, of course! We spent lots of time deciding what all the kids should wear and what decorations and what kind of cake. Each decision was Tessa's to make. Here are some pictures from her party. Can't believe she's 3!! Where does time go?! We love you so much Tessa Jo!!

Our big girl!
Make a wish!
After cake and ice cream each child was given a "goodie" bag with a costume and treats in it. It was so fun to see them all dressed up!
From the left: Tessa, Max, Jackson (behind Max), Addie, Annie, Kassidy, Breckon.
Ready to open presents!
These 2 are the best presents I've ever been given! And to see Tessa so happy and having fun makes all the work that much better :o)
Just wanted to share my little creations... With the help of the wonderful Suzi we personalized each child's bag. Think they turned out pretty cute, if I do say so!
This is the cake Tess asked for. I'm glad she has simple taste because I don't think I could have done much more.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TESSA!

Papa Bear

Today Tessa's birthday package from my parents came. She knew exactly what it was so I had to let her open it early. My dad had made her a Build-a-Bear with a recording in it and she LOVES him! I asked her what it was a she said a "Papa Bear." Every now and then, from wherever I am in the house, I can hear her listening to the recording. She hasn't let it out of her sight or grasp since it came!

Thanks mom and dad! It was a hit!

Some things never change!

You'd think I'd learn after 3 years with Tessa that she's not the biggest fan of getting get face painted. But, with this past Halloween I thought things had changed for the better. Guess I was wrong!

This was taken on Halloween when Tess was 8 months old

This was taken last week! She got her face painted (by a clown) at Chick-fil-A Family Night and was so excited while we were there. But when we got home and she looked at herself, this was the reaction she gave.
Silly girl!

This picture was just funny to me. She was throwing a fit one day after we had come back from grocery shopping. She was yelling and kicking her feet on the ground and everything. This went on for about 2 loads of groceries being brought in. As I walked in the house with the 3 load, this is what I found. She was flat out asleep! She slept like that for about an hour too! What a silly girl!
