So on our way back home we decided to stop in Buffalo and see Jeff and Abby. We had the best time. We only intended to stay one night, Sunday to Monday, but we ended up not leaving until Tuesday morning. We went hiking at the Niagara Gorge...HOW BEAUTIFUL! We started out hiking a nice little path enjoying the view, but then the boys got it in them that we needed to get down to the water. WE found this never ending flight of stairs that lead to a small path that lead to the water. The guys and the kids stripped and went swimming as Abby and I took the pictures. Once everyone was cooled (aside from Abs and I) we started out journey back up the stairs. Oh my! What a work out to be carrying a baby on my chest and holding Tessa's hand (or dragging her, is more the truth) up all those steps. It was great fun though and we've all never been so happy to get back in the cramped mini van and turn on the AC. After that we put in our order for some wings and pizza. If you're ever in Buffalo, you MUST try the wings from the Anchor Bar...YUM, YUM, YUM. I think we all took back in those calories lost from our hike, but it was well worth it. The kids had fun, for the most part, playing together and we all had a blast hangin in Jeff and Abby's new pad...which is darling!
Thanks so much guys for letting us crash for so long...you're the best. Glad we're friends!
